James Kilpatrick Bryson

James Bryson was born in Newton Mearns in 1919, son of William Kilpatrick Bryson and Martha Bryson of Newton Mearns, brother of Marsha and brother-in-law of David Arthur.
He was educated at Mearns School and Shawlands Academy and was training to be an accountant when war broke out.

James died aged 23 on 13 December 1942 in the Mersa Mega Mine Fields during the North Africa Campaign. He is buried in Benghazi Cemetery, Libya - Grave reference 3. C. 27.
